MINISTER OPENING REMARKS OF URBAN PROFILING AND LAND USE MAPPING WORKSHOP

H.E Mr. Ismail Ahmed Garas, the Minister for Ministry of Public Works and Housing, has pointed out the importance of the Urban profiling system to obtain data for defining priorities in the urban profiling and land use mapping within municipalities and working closely with line ministries. The minister also appreciated the partnership and the cooperation between the Ministry of Public Works JSS and UN-HABITAT to define the people’s need in regards to areas of urban profiling and land use mapping and finally thanked UN-Habitat for Funding this great Project.
